Streamlight Tactical Weapon Mount TLR1 Weapon Light

I purchased the Stramlight TLR-1 and have been extremely pleased with the light. The TLR-1 mounted easily to my Glock and is very user friendly. It has two on positions, one that is toggled on with pressure and another that stays on when actuated. I have only mounted it to my Glock, but the TLR-1 came with several adapters and I am sure it is compatible with most hand guns with any type of rail system.

All home protection weapons should have a light mounted to them. It illuminates and disorients your target. A laser sight simply informs your intruder where you are, but does not reveal the intruder. Illuminating your target in your home is a must, no one wants to take lethal action against a unintended target such as your teenage child sneaking in or out at night. I will no longer need to use lethal force upon intruders entering my home, I can easily blind them with the TLR-1. (In all seriousness the power on this weapon light is incredible.) The accompanying pictures were taken at about 10 yards in my back yard and it lit up the entire surrounding area. I will give a bit of advice. Shine this in your eyes before mounting to your weapon. The urge to sample the Streamlight Weapon Light's blinding power once it is mounted is almost to great to resist and no one should point a weapon at themselves no matter how sure you are that it is unloaded.
