Where to find potable water in emergency situations

We all know the obvious places like streams, ponds, lakes etc., always keep in mind the faster moving the water, the better. There are some additional places you can find already clean drinking water before you have to resort to grabbing your water from nature.

Your pipes should still be full so if you release the air pressure you should be able to get some water that way but there are many easier ways to find water. If you are releasing pressure in your pipes to get water it must be real bad and you are going to have to find a better more long term solution.
